An Australian national, Thomas Alfred has been arrested by Nepal Police for sexually abusing minors in Pokhara. The arrest was made by the Nepal Police Central Investigation Bureau on Tuesday. Two 15 year old boys were also rescued from his rented room. The minors have been sent to a hospital for examination.
According to the police, Alfred had been living in Pokhara for the past three years. He works as a paragliding pilot/instructor.He had been renting a room in the city, from where he was picked up.
The suspect has been kept in custody, and further investigation is ongoing. Alfred will be presented before court on a later date.
