Bagmati Province Chief Minister Ashtalaxmi Shakya has resigned from her post.
CM Shakya tendered her resignation following her address to the Provincial Assembly of Bagmati Province today afternoon.
In her address to the provincial assembly, CM Shakya responded to the questions raised over the vote of confidence for her.
She was elected to the post of CM on September 18 this year.
Meanwhile, the meeting of the Bagmati Province Assembly has been adjourned till further notice.
