A 13-year-old child has died in the course of treatment after a tree hit him when his head was stuck out of the window of a school bus.
The deceased child has been identified as Ayushman Dahal, who lived near New Bus Park, Kathmandu.
The incident took place at Lazimpat on Wednesday at 3:30 pm. The school bus was dropping off students after school hours when Dahal hit his head on a roadside tree.
The police informed that Dahal, who was seriously injured in the accident, died during treatment at the University Teaching Hospital.
Meanwhile, the police have taken the school bus driver into custody.
