Deuba refuses to take oath as PM


Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba has said that he will not take oath as the Prime Minister. Expressing dissatisfaction over President Bidyadevi Bhandari not mentioning Article of the Constitution while appointing the Prime Minister, Deuba said that the appointment should be corrected and mentioned as per Article 76 (5) of the Constitution.
Deuba expressed dissatisfaction that President Bidyadevi Bhandari did not mention the article of the constitution when appointing the prime minister. He has not reached the President’s Office today (Tuesday) even though preparations have been made for his swearing in at 6 pm.
