Dhurmus-Suntali Foundation has collected Rs 55 million so far for the construction of Gautam Buddha International Cricket Stadium in Nepal.
Organising a press conference on Sunday, Foundation Chair Sitaram Kattel ‘Dhurmus’ shared the information.
According to the Foundation, it would take around Rs 3 billion for the construction of the Stadium. Kattel said that they have requested all to support them in this mission and launching different programmes in foreign countries to collect the amount.
He said that programmes have already been scheduled in Japan, Australia and UAE in days ahead for the construction of stadium. Committees are being formed in the districts for collecting financial support.
Kattel said that they are getting financial support from every settlement, adding that they have been involved in order to develop the Stadium as the Sports Academy. A land agreement was signed between Bharatpur Metropolitan City and Dhurmus-Suntali Foundation one month ago for the construction of the Stadium.
