Minister for Communications and Information Technology Gyanendra Bahadur Karki, has said that digital payment is a priority of the government.
Addressing the second phase of Phone Pay Digital Economy Conclave 2022 organised by Brandworth Pvt. Ltd. in Kathmandu on Friday, Minister Karki said that digital payment is the priority of the government. He also said that the government has been promoting it.
He said that the government would document the findings of the programme and include them while making the policies. He is confident that this programme will also help in the Digital Nepal Framework programme.
Minister Karki said, “I have participated in many such programmes since I took charge of this ministry. This kind of enthusiasm for this program should be maintained, not just for the duration of the programme, but forever too. ”
