The meeting of the ruling coalition is underway in Baluwatar.
Chairman of the CPN (Maoist Centre) Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’s press coordinator Surya Kiran informed that the meeting of the ruling coalition has been going on since 10:15 am.
He informed that the meeting will discuss the local level election preparations and decide on the common candidates of the alliance. The Election Commission has fixed the time for nomination on April 24 and 25.
In the ongoing meeting, Nepali Congress President and Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba, CPN (MC) Chairman Prachanda, Chairman of the CPN (Unified Socialist) Madhav Kumar Nepal, Presidents of the Janata Samajwadi Party Dr Baburam Bhattarai and Upendra Yadav among other leaders have participated.
