Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Physical Infrastructure and Transport, Narayan Kaji Shrestha, has taken initiation for resolving the problems faced by citizens while acquiring the driving license.
In this connection, DPM Shrestha carried out monitoring and inspection of the Transport Office at Ekantakuna, Lalitpur today.
On the occasion, he also interacted with the service-seekers regarding the problems they faced while accessing services from the office, DPM’s private secretary Bijaya Gautam said. DPM and Minister Shrestha instructed the chief and the employees at the Office to carry out work as per the laws, and the government would take action if any complaints.
While interacting with the service-seekers and the general public in course of the monitoring, the DPM and Minister for Transport Management listened to their complaints and assured that he is committed to improving the Office’s service delivery.
He also directed the chief and the employees of the Office to make the services effective and easily accessible.
DPM and Minister Shrestha instructed them to extend the time for providing the service, to work in an active and responsive manner, and to put to an end the irregularities, the middle-men’s intervention, and the illegal syndication practice. He also warned of immediate action in case of information of any wrongdoing by anyone anywhere. (RSS)
