Glimpses of PM Oli-faction Nepal Communist Party’s mass gathering on Friday

Kathmandu, Nepal:

The KP Sharma Oli faction of the Nepal Communist Party organized a mass gathering as a “show of strength” in front of Narayanhiti Palace Museum in Durbarmarg, Kathmandu, on Friday.

Prime Minister Oli along with NCP Standing Committee member Satyanarayan Mandal, Deputy Prime Minister Ishwar Pokharel, and Home Minister Ram Bahadur Thapa addressed the gathering.

In his speech, Prime Minister Oli urged the public to keep faith in the country’s Federal Democratic Republic status.

Oli, who has been accused of taking regressive steps after the dissolution of the House of Representatives, said no one could take away the country’s democracy.

He reiterated that he had dissolved the Parliament because other political leaders did not let him do his job.
