Meteorologists have predicted cloudy weather and light rain across the country, including Kathmandu, this week.
Meteorologist Sabina Shakya said that there is a possibility of light rain and cloud cover in Kathmandu till Tuesday to Wednesday. “There is a possibility of light rain and cloud cover across the country including the remote Himalayan and hilly districts since Sunday,” she said.
There is also a possibility of light to moderate rainfall in a few places of Tarai in the middle of the week.
According to her, the temperature will further plummet as soon as there is light rain and cloudiness.
The Meteorological Forecasting Division had forecasted partial westerly winds across the country, causing partial and general cloud cover in the hilly areas on Saturday.
Similarly, there is a possibility of light snowfall in a few places in the high hills and mountains of the country on Sunday, according to the division.
