Kathmandu Valley Records 31 New Cases Of COVID-19


The Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) has confirmed 31 new cases of COVID-19 in Kathmandu Valley today.

In 8,861 Real-Time Polymerase Chain Reaction (RT-PCR) tests performed in the last 24 hours (across the nation), as many as 31 persons were found with the virus infection in Kathmandu valley, said Dr. Jageshwor Gautam, spokesperson of the ministry in the daily press briefing today.

Of the 31 cases, 22 were detected in Kathmandu, eight in Lalitpur, and one case was detected in Bhaktapur.

Meanwhile, 246 cases of virus infection were detected across the nation today, taking the caseload to 20,332 including 14,603 cases of recovery and 57 death cases.
