Palpa-Butwal section of the Siddhartha highway has been completely blocked since this afternoon due to the landslides at Pauthe Danda in Tinau Rural Municipality.
The road has also caved in at Hiudekhola in Tinau-5, according to the police.
Incessant rainfall has been occurring in the area since last night.
Damodar Malla, chief of the Palpa District Traffic Police Office, said efforts were being made to open the road by removing debris.
