Lawmakers draw govt’s attention towards management of garbage, fertilizer


Members of the House of Representatives have drawn the government’s attention, saying farmers have been facing problems in lack of fertilizer.

Taking a special time in today’s HoR meeting, lawmaker Hridayesh Tripathi blamed the government of not paying attention even though the country has been facing an acute shortage of chemical fertilizer.

He said that there would be a decline in paddy production this year if this situation continues.

Similarly, HoR member Krishna Bahadur Rai drew the government’s attention to the management of

garbage of the Kathmandu Valley.

Saying a single woman was burnt to death in Darchula on Wednesday, lawmaker Ganesh Singh Thagunna demanded action against those involved in the incident. (RSS),
