A massive fire has broken out in the top floors of the Share Market building in Putali Sadak, housed by the NIAC Language Centre. Thick smoke could be seen billowing out of the building from as far as Durbar Marg. Firefighters have reached the scene and are dousing the fire. Traffic is snarling around the area and Metropolitan Traffic Department has requested commuters to seek alternative routes. No casualties have been reported yet and the cause of the fire is unknown. The fire is believed to have spread to adjoining buildings.
