Nepali Congress (NC) leaders including Prime Minister and NC president Sher Bahadur Deuba have held a discussion on current issues with President Bidya Devi Bhandari today.
The discussion was particularly focused on Nepal Citizenship First Amendment Bill.
Earlier, the President had returned the Bill sent to her for authentication to the Parliament asking the sovereign organ to review the Bill.
Dr. Bhesh Raj Adhikari, personal secretary of the President, informed that President Bhandari inquired about the business of the parliament and the citizenship bill during the discussion.
PM Deuba was accompanied by Gyanendra Bahadur Karki, Minister for Communication and Information Technology, NC vice-president Dhana Raj Gurung, and General Secretary Gagan Kumar Thapa.
