Nepal Army preparing itself for battle in case of coronavirus outbreak (With Photos)

Nepal Army (NA) has prepared itself for the battle against the growing pandemic coronavirus infection if its spread is seen in Nepal as it is seen worldwide.

NA trained its health workers and technical teams for the preparation and treatment of coronavirus infected at Army Head Quarter, Bhadrakali on Wednesday.

According to military spokesperson Vigyandev Pandey, 181 has been provided training, along with 52 health workers and technical teams.

Pandey said there are 54 tents were recently set up in Bhadrakali for training. Within each tent two people will be kept for treatment. The two patients will be provided with two separate toilets and water facilities.

Field ambulances and physicians were present in the training along with OPD doctors from Army Hospital in Pokhara, Itahari and Nepalgunj.

According to the Directorate of Military Information and Public Relations, the army has already established isolation isolation cells in Pokhara, Itahari and Nepalgunj. The Army has set a target to build 52 isolation beds in hospitals including Kathmandu.
