No unity with any party before election: Chair Nepal

Chairperson of the CPN (Unified Socialist) and former prime minister Madhav Kumar Nepal has said his party would not be united with any political party before the election. Chairperson Nepal said it during a gathering of active cadres organized by district committee of the party on Saturday.
Although the party unification is impossible, electoral alliance is expected, Nepal made it clear. He further said the current alliance could be extended even after election if the parties in the alliance were ensured participation in election in a respected manner.
Nepal urged the party cadres to devote to election preparation with further activities so that more number of seats could be ensured in the coming election. “It is not time to depend solely on electoral alliance, activities should be forwarded in a way to achieve electoral target by winning people’s confidence,” he underscored.
Chairperson Nepal blamed that the parties in the alliance failed to show honesty in the local level election. So, all of us need to be honest in the coming election. He also asserted that his party was honest in the five-party alliance, so others too should follow suit.
On the occasion, party politburo member and former minister Prem Bahadur Ale vowed that he would not leave any stone unturned for the development of the far western region of the country. “When I was the minister, huge amount of budget was allocated for the Sudurpaschim Province including Doti district,” he reminded.
He also viewed his party was working for the rights of poor and backward people. (RSS)
