Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ and Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Home Affairs Rabi Lamichhane held a meeting.
Matters related to the contemporary political affairs, including expansion of cabinet were discussed in the meeting held at the Prime Minister’s official residence, Baluwatar, on Saturday evening, the PM secretariat said.
Consultations among the leaders of ruling parties are being held on the issue of cabinet expansion following PM Prachanda secured vote of confidence in the House of Representatives (HoR) on last Tuesday.
Earlier today, PM Prachanda and CPN-UML chair KP Sharma Oli also held a discussion on the agenda of cabinet expansion.
Though efforts have been made to give final shape to the cabinet following securing vote of confidence in the parliament, it has not yet been materialized in the fifth day today. (RSS)
