Police arrest 21 cadres of Biplav, including party in-charge(s)

21 cadres of government-declared outlawed Netra Chand led Communist Party of Nepal (CPN) have been arrested in Dang district.

Police on Wednesday night successfully detained them from Rajpur Rural Municipality – 4 while a bureau meeting was taking place, as per Deputy Superintendent Police (DSP) Binod Bikram Shah at Dang District Police Office.

Those cadres who have been arrested also include Rapti’s bureau incharge for Biplav-led CPN party Kesh Bahadur Batha, aka “Subhas”, Dang district incharge Sabin Pokhrel, the party’s central member from Dang, Chandra Bahadur Chand, aka “Birjung”.

Police said “they were participating in the bureau meeting at 1:00 am” when they intervened.
