Police arrest man in suspicion of drug smuggling and alleged selling of pen gun

Nepal police arrested a man in Pokhara under suspicion of being a drug smuggler and alleged dealer of ‘pen gun’ – a portable weapon akin to pen – on Wednesday.

Acting on a tip off, a team of police personnel had raided the room of the arrestee to find the pen gun with 7 bullets and drugs such as Diazepam and Buprenorphine.

According to police, Sagar Ranabhat, a resident of Pokhara Metropolitan City-24, has been living in Pokhara to work as a drug dealer. He is also accused of selling pen guns.
