Officers of Nepal Police have used force to disperse a crowd gathered to demand the reinstatement of ex-NEA chief Kul Man Ghising. The protesters had gathered at Bijuli Bazaar of Baneshwor, and were rallying peacefully for the reinstatement of Ghisin. Making their way towards Maitighar Mandala, police officers intervened near Nepal Art Council, Babarmahal.

Several protesters were charged with sticks and dispersed, and one member of the 100s group has been arrested.
