A policeman in Rautahat district near the Nepal-Indo border has sustained injuries in a bomb attack by two Indian nationals at the Mithia Police Station today.
Police constable Ranjit Yadav was injured in the bomb attack that occurred this afternoon at Ishnath Municipality-4. Police have arrested Chandan Kumar, hailing from Dhaka area of the Indian state of Bihar in his alleged connection to the crime while another suspect escaped from the scene, police said.
The attackers had used motorbikes to throw the bomb at the police station.
The motive behind the attack is yet to be ascertained. Police have launched a probe into the case.
