CPN (Maoist Centre) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has asserted that current coalition government would be expanded very soon and would be centered on resolving citizens’ problems.
Addressing an event organized by the Sarlahi-Kathmandu Liaison Committee of the CPN (Maoist Centre) on Monday, Chairman Prachanda shared that coalition government had held its meeting today and would discuss to reach a conclusion tomorrow.
Claiming that there will not be development and stability in the country until his party would emerge as per the largest political force in the country, Prachanda assured, “Until the Maoist prevails in Tarai-Madhes, the Madhesi people would not be truly emancipated.” Hitting out to the opposition party, he gaffed that the public had witnessed what could happen if they would elect other than CPN (Maoist Centre).
He argued that all the political achievements were at stake while CPN (UML) Chairperson KP Sharma Oli was elected Prime Minister. “We nearly lost federalism. Republican system was at stake while KP Oli held reign of the country.”
The former Prime Minister reasoned that the Oli-led government was toppled due to the foul play of the erstwhile government. “Same was the case in the provinces.”
“As for securing the welfare of the Madhesis and fighting for their identity and rights, it was us who strove but all the credit went to others,” lChairman Prachanda said.
On the occasion, Prachanda welcomed new cadres to his party.
