President Bidya Devi Bhandari has extended the best wishes on the occasion of Jitiya festival 2022.
In a message issued on Saturday, the President has wished all Nepali brothers and sisters peace, prosperity and good health on the occasion of Jitiya festival celebrated by Tharu and Madhesi community of Terai region for longevity of the children.
She expressed her wishes that the festival would help to further strengthen the national unity by awakening the sense of mutual respect, harmony and tolerance in the diverse Nepali society in terms of geography, caste, language and culture.
