‘Promise made to people won’t be forgotten’


Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Energy and Water Resources Rajendra Lingden has said that he would work without forgetting the promise he made to the people and the country.

Deputy Prime Minister (DPM) Lingden has been making repeated pledges that he would never involve himself in corruption, saying that involving in corruption is like drinking mother’s blood. “After winning elections, many people’s representatives are accused of forgetting their commitments. But I will not allow this happen. I will fulfil my commitments.”

DPM Lingden, who is also the chairman of Rastriya Prajatantra Party, has reiterated that he would neither engage in corruption nor allow corruption to happen. DPM Lingden, who is in a visit to his constituency, Goldhap, Haldibari Rural Municipality, on Monday, said that the era of development and construction has begun in his area and in the country as whole.

He also expressed his commitment that he would focus on the development of rural areas, which have been lagging behind for a long time.

Talking to the locals in Goldhap, DPM Lingden attributed his current achievements to the people of the constituency and pledged that developing this area would be his first priority.

Meanwhile, congratulating and wishing the elected officials of Chamber of Commerce, Damak, Minister Lingden expressed his commitment to solving the problems related to investments and businessmen.
