Minister for Home Affairs Ram Bahadur Thapa has said that the regressive forces caused a division in the Nepal Communist Party (NCP).
Addressing a cadres’ meet of the NCP in Lalitpur on Friday, he argued that the regressive forces were making a strategy to invite instability in the country. “Seems they have closely studied the weaknesses of the NCP; we will stand against that as we have the challenges on how to ensure stability and good governance in the country,” he said.
Minister Thapa also said that time has come to discharge the new responsibility given by history.
Also speaking at the programme, Minister for Education, Science and Technology Krishna Gopal Shrestha urged all to unite for the upcoming elections slated for May stating that only the coward fears the polls.
Likewise, NCP central committee member Nawaral Silwal also called for a massive unity for the upcoming polls.
