Relief collected in different parts of the district was distributed to fire survivor Chepang families of Ichhakamana rural municipality-2, Faidal in Chitwan on Tuesday.
A fire incident occurred at 1.30 pm on March 22 left six-month-old son of Ramchandra Praja dead and his house destroyed. Likewise, the fire also caused damages to the house of Ram Krishna Praja and Deepak Chepang.
To the respite of the fire survivor family of Ramchandra Praja, the District Disaster Management Committee aided Rs 110,000, Ichhakamana rural municipality Rs 35,000, State Assembly member Ghanashyam Dahal Rs 5,000 and ward chair Pancha Bahadur Praja Rs 2,000.
Likewise, two others fire victim families received Rs 27,000 each, which was collected from local administration, rural municipality, parliamentarian and ward chair.
Also on the occasion, the fire survivor Chepang families were provided with foods and clothes with cash. (RSS)
