The Kathmandu District Court has given permission to extend the remand of the suspended Captain of the Nepali National Cricket Team, Sandeep Lamichhane, for five more days.
The Kathmandu District Court gave permission to keep Sandeep in police custody for five more days from today for further investigation into the case. Sandeep is police custody since October 6 on the charge of raping a minor girl. Police arrested Sandeep from Tribhuvan International Airport on October 6.
The remand of Sandeep has been extended for the second time today in order to forward the investigation into the case keeping him in custody. (RSS)
