Stakeholders have said that the government should prioritise Lumbini and Buddhism while deepening its age-old friendly relationship with China.

Nepal must benefit by attracting tourists from China and our authorities must work to bring visitors from China, a country with about 1.4 billion people. “To achieve a positive outcome in attracting people from China, our authorities must highlight the importance of Lumbini and Buddhism in strengthening ties between Nepal and China,” they added.
