CPN (UML) Chairperson KP Sharma Oli has urged media-persons to discharge their duty for the country and people independently and without fear.
Media should always stand in favour of truth, said the former Prime Minister while attending a gathering of media-persons associated with the Press Chautari Nepal close to the UML at Birtamod, Jhapa, on Wednesday. “Writers should always work for truth and to stop anomalies.”
A politics of negation was playing out in the country to alienate the UML, he claimed while stressing the need for building an equitable and just society by ending all sorts of existing discriminations.
In another event in Jhapa, the UML Chair underscored the need for ending racial, gender and ethnic discriminations. (RSS)
