Wave Of Development Has Been Unleashed: Prime Minister


Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has said that the government will move ahead with the development projects amid the battle against the coronavirus pandemic.
He made this remarks while virtually laying the foundation stone of Himalaya Secondary School and Dhukurpani Secondary School at Damak, in Jhapa district, on Monday.
He reminded that there was a wave of development taking place across the country and that infrastructure development plans like Damak View Tower were now gaining momentum.
“My aim is to ensure that no educational institution suffers from the shortage of physical resources, which are essential for the development of the education sector, he said, adding, “We are committed to creating a competitive education targeting global market and its achievements have now become visible.”
He added that since the government had been working tirelessly towards
preventing and treating coronavirus infections, the infection rate had been falling gradually.
“As coronavirus is our common enemy, we need to work hand in hand to defeat it,” he said.
Damak is the hometown of Prime Minister Oli. And Himalaya Secondary School is a model school of Damak.
Mayor of Damak, Municipality Romnath Oli, said the federal government had provided a budget of Rs. 110 million for the construction of two school buildings.
Earlier, Prime Minister Oli had virtually inaugurated the educational and commercial buildings of Damak Multiple Campus, being constructed at a cost of Rs. 100 million.
