The Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) on Sunday confirmed 429 new cases of COVID-19 in the Kathmandu Valley. Of the new cases, 372 were detected in Kathmandu, 12 were found in Lalitpur and 45 were confirmed in Bhaktapur.
This is the highest single-day tally recorded in Kathmandu Valley until now.
Below are the numbers of new cases of Covid-19 in the past week:
24th August, 2020 (Monday): 224 new cases.
25th August, 2020 (Tuesday): 232 new cases.
26th August, 2020 (Wednesday): 301 new cases
27th August, 2020 (Thursday): 377 new cases
28th August, 2020 (Friday): 415 new cases
29th August, 2020 (Saturday): 186 new cases
30th August, 2020 (Sunday): 429 new cases.
