Nepal Electricity Authority has installed an electric vehicle charging station in Ratnpark, Kathmandu.
The NEA has partnered with the Chinese electric motor company, BYD Auto, to set up the station.
The charging port is being established as an encouragement to car owners to go green. Nepal aspires to have at least 20% electric vehicles on its road within 2020.
