Humagain appointed head coach for friendly match


The All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) has appointed Pradip Humagain as head coach for the Nepali national football team for a friendly match against Bangladesh. The match is scheduled to take place on coming 27 September at the Dasharath Stadium in the capital.

The ANFA’s second executive committee meeting on Thursday chaired by the ANFA President Pankaj Bikram Nembang also picked Narendra Shrestha as ANFA’s honourary president. Similarly, Kishor Rai has been appointed senior honourary president and Suresh Shah as the spokesperson.

Also, the ANFA has fixed ticket rates for matches under the SAFF Women’s Championship 2022 scheduled to be held between September 6-19 in Kathmandu.

Accordingly, Rs 500 will be charged per ticket in the VIP stand while Rs 300 per person in the general stand.

The matches will be held place from 1:00 pm to 5:30 pm. The meeting also decided to organise the ANFA special general assembly on coming September 28.

Meanwhile, the meeting removed Nabin Pande as head of the ANFA International Relations Department. Similarly, ANFA General Secretary Kiran Rai has been entrusted with the responsibility to take decision about Abdullah Almutairi, head coach for the national football team. (RSS)
