A woman is critical after she was stabbed a number of times, following an incident at Marrickville early this morning.
About 3am today (Wednesday 11 September 2019), emergency services were called to a unit in Arthur Street, Marrickville, following reports of an injured woman.
Officers attached to Inner West Police Area Command and NSW Ambulance paramedics attended and located the woman, aged in her 30s, with multiple stab wounds.
She was conveyed to Royal Prince Alfred Hospital and remains in a critical condition.
A crime scene has been established and investigations into the circumstances surrounding the incident continue.
