National COVID-19 tally 14,046, death toll 30
The Ministry of Health and Population has confirmed 482 new cases of COVID-19 today.
As many as 482 persons, 365 males and 117 females were identified with the virus infection in the last 24 hours, informed Dr Jageshwor Gautam, spokesperson of the ministry in the daily press briefing today.
The new COVID-19 cases were detected in Jhapa, Siraha, Sunsari, Illam, Morang, Taplejung, Dhanusa, Mahottari, Parsa, Achham, Bajhang, Bajura, Gorkha, Kailali, Kanchanpur, Parbat, Kathmandu, Chitwan, Nawalparasi (East), Bara, Bhaktapur, Lalitpur, Doti, Kailali, Kanchanpur, Baglung, Syangja, Tanahun, Kaski, Lamjung, Argakhachi, Nawalparasi, Palpa, Banke, Bardiya, Dailekh, Kalikot, Salyan, Surkhet, Dang, Jumla and Baitadi.
With this, the national COVID-19 tally has reached 14,046, including 4,656 cases of recovery and 29 death cases.
Meanwhile, 1,462 COVID-19 patients receiving treatment at COVID-19 Hospital, Janakpur, Kalaiya Hospital Bara, Sai Krishna Isolation, Janakpur, Shukraraj Tropical and Infectious Disease Hospital, Kathmandu, Jwalamukhi Isolation Center, Nilkantha Isolation Center, Patan Hospital, Surkhet Provincial Hospital and various isolation centers of State 5 have recovered from the infection in the last 24 hours.
Moreover, a 45-year old male of Ramroshan Municipality-5, Achham has died of COVID-19, taking the death toll to 30.
After having some difficulties in breathing, the deceased was admitted to Bayalpata Hospital on June 28. He was also suffering from diabetes He breathed his last on June 29.
With this, the national COVID-19 tally has reached 14,046, including 4,656 cases of recovery and 30 death cases.
